Medieval Townhouse Papercraft

I like the quirky lopsidedness of this papercraft medieval house. The model was originally intended to be used with tabletop role playing games, but I think it might also work well as part of a miniature Christmas village. This "Seedy Townhouse" is the creation of Peter Fitzpatrick. The template for the model may be downloaded as a PDF from Fitzpatrick's website, mojobob.com. The house is scaled for use in games with 35mm figures.

Rock Pikmin Papercraft

First released in 2001, Pikmin is an addictive Nintendo video game series  that involves using loveable little plant creatures of various types to solve puzzles. This Rock Pikmin papercraft is a fan art creation by Muumin Craft based on how the character appears in Pikmin 3. The PDF template for the model is available on the Muumin  Craft Website. In the game, Muumin is fond of the Rock Pikmin because of their "high attack power and the exhilarating feeling of being able to easily destroy hard objects."

Mini Papercraft Cars Collection

I thought the idea behind this collection of mini papercraft cars was fun. Each of the 45 cars is a real life version of a car or vehicle that has appeared as a character in one of Pixar's Cars movies. The 1:250 scale models are small enough that all 45 may be printed on a single sheet of cardstock. The PDF template for these cars is available for download from R&P Models.

Cuphead Papercraft Collection

Bryan at Paper Foldables was commissioned to produce these paper toys for Studio MDHR as promotional items for the Cuphead video game. Cuphead is a unique game whose style is based on 1920's "rubber hose" animation. The characters in this papercraft collection include: Cuphead, Mugman, Ms. Malice, Evil Cuphead, and Vile Mugman. The printable PDF templates for each of these toys are available at paperfoldables.com. Cuphead was released in 2017.

Sonic Anniversary Papercraft

This year is the 35th anniversary of the first Sonic the Hedgehog video game! Ten years ago for the 25th anniversary, this papercraft Sonic was created by Sabi96 to commemorate the event. The 23 page PDF template for the model may be downloaded here. The finished figure is about 19.7" (50 cm) tall. And although Sabi doesn't say, it is highly likely some kind of weight is required inside Sonic's foot in order to get him to stand up on his own. ;)

Dome of the Rock Papercraft

I am long overdue posting a serious architecture paper model! This one fills the bill. It is a detailed model of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. This sacred building was built in the seventh century with the blue ornamentation being added in the sixteenth century. This 1:100 scale papercraft was designed by Secanda and features an unique notation system that is used as the instructions for constructing the model. Godzilla: King of the Monsters Papercraft

This awesome papercraft depicts Godzilla as he appears in the 2019 movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. This a large paper model standing at 32.7" (83 cm) tall and measuring 49.7" (126 cm) from nose to tip of tail. The template for the model comes in both PDF and Pepakura PDO format. The template was created by WR Papercrafts and may be downloaded from their MediaFire page. King of the Monsters is notable in that it stars Mille Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame. Minecraft Papercraft: Enchanting Table

I don't know much about Minecraft, but I do like small papercraft books, so this project caught my eye. ;) In the Minecraft video game, an enchanting table may be used to apply enchantments (magical upgrades) to tools, armor, and books. After items have been enchanted, they take on a special visual "glint." This papercraft enchanting table was created by a Korean designer. The download link for the model is available on his blog which is called, Man Who Makes Paper Models. If you don't know Korean, then translate the blog page to English and follow the instructions there carefully about how to get the PDF template. There is a password involved!

Gatchaman God Phoenix Papercraft

When I was young, I used to watch an animated American TV show called G-Force. Much later, I discovered G-Force was an adaptation of the 1972 Japanese anime series, Science Ninja Team Gatchaman. In the Gatchaman show, the G-Force team's aircraft is called the "God Phoenix." The Phoenix is capable of both spaceflight and under water travel. Also, when the need arises, the ship can also initiate "Firebird Mode" and turn into a massive flaming bird. This paper model of the God Phoenix was created by Studio Time Ring. WH40K Papercraft: Malcador Tank

The Ukrainian paper model designer, Eli Patoroch, is a prolific creator of Warhammer 40k papercraft. Over the years he has created hundreds of model templates, all of them free. All his models are very well designed, but do take considerable skill to build. This photo shows one example of his work: a Malcador Defender tank. He-Man Papercraft: Orko

In the original 1983 He-Man animated series, the character, Orko, provides the comic relief for the show. Orko is from the planet, Trolla. The Trollans are magical folk who levitate from one place to another rather than walking. This Orko papecraft was created by Titan Papercraft. The template for this paper model is available in Pepakura PDO format only and may be downloaded from Titan's MediaFire page. The most current entry in the He-Man franchise is the Masters of the Universe movie which was released on June 5, 2026.

Splatoon Papercraft: Agent 8

Splatoon is a third-person shooter video game by Nintendo. The characters in the game are humanoid octopuses (Octolings) and squids (Inklings). This papercraft figure is of the female version of the playable Octoling character known as "Agent 8." The printable template for this papercraft comes in Pepakura PDO and PDF formats, both which may be downloaded at the Pepakura Gallery. Photo instructions are included in the download, however the text is Japanese. There are currently four different games in the Splatoon franchise.

Star Wars AT-AT & AT-ST Papercraft

Here are two 1/250 scale Star Wars paper models from my friend Masayu-i in Japan. The models are the All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) and the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) as seen in the Star Wars Episodes V and VI movies. Masayu-i has designed these models to reduce waste; the goal being no extra scraps, no unnecessary gluing tabs. Links to the PNG templates for these models are below.

Low Poly Papercraft Bear Wall Art

Paper Iconic, the creator of this low poly bear papercraft, describes his creation as "bas-relief." Bas-relief is an ancient technique of stone carving where sculpted 3D figures project ever so slightly from a flat background. The dimensions of the bear from the front are roughly 16" (40 cm) x 8" (20 cm), yet the depth of the bear is only 2.6" (6.6 cm). The template and instructions for this wall art may be downloaded from Pepakura Gallery. As the template is white, it is not explained how to achieve a black bear, as pictured. The only two options I can think of are: 1) to paint the finished model or 2) print the template on dual sided black and white cardstock so that the template is printed on the white side and then fold "backwards" so the black is on the outside.

Crisis Core FFVII Shinra Helicopter Papercraft

Back in 2009, Kaizo was a very prolific papercraft creator. His favorite subjects were characters and objects from Final Fantasy video games. This Shinra helicopter was one of his creations based on a 3D model from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. The three page template for this model is still available on MediaFire. Along with PDF and PDO templates, the download includes photo instructions. In the Final Fantasy VII universe, Shinra is an oppressive megacorporation that dominates the world.

In the Transformers universe, there are the Dinobots who transform, not into cars and trucks, but into dinosaurs. The leader of the Dinobots is Grimlock who transforms into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. This Grimlock papercraft by PJ Excelero Papercraft has templates available in both PDF and Pepakura PDO format, all of which is available for download here. The finished model stands about 12" (30 cm) tall.

Ichthyosaur Papercraft

Ichthyosaurs were marine reptiles that lived during the Mesozoic era. The largest of the ichthyosaurs were about 85' (26 m) long, the smallest were around 3' (1 m) long. Hoth Snowspeeder Papercraft

Here is a new Star Wars snowspeeder paper model from Japanese designer, Masayu-i. Snowspeeders, also known as "T-47 airspeeders," play a prominent role in the Battle of Hoth that appears in the movie, The Empire Strikes Back. This snowspeeder model comes in two scales: 1:80 and 1:100. The templates for both sizes come together in a one-page PNG file that should be printed on a single A4 size sheet in order to maintain the proper scale. Mini SNES Papercraft

I have always been a sucker for miniature papercraft. This mini papercraft of the old Super Nintendo Entertainment System is one example. Created by DeviantART member Ryo007 in 2008, this paper model has some lengths of old wired earbud cable added for greater realism. LoL Volibear Papercraft

Volibear is a playable character in the League of Legends video game. Volibear is a demigod who is worshiped by the Ursine, a race of bear-like warriors. This paper model of Volibear depicts the original appearance of the character before he was revised in 2020 to have less armor.
